English Speakeasy: introduzione all’analisi di testi di canzoni in lingua inglese

Il corso si propone l’obiettivo di sviluppare l’interesse dei partecipanti per le canzoni in lingua inglese attraverso l’analisi approfondita dei testi. Il testo di una canzone deve necessarily be addressed along with the music that accompanies it: for this during the meetings, together with text analysis and its interpretation, we will discuss the music that accompanies it and completes it.
Requirements: basic knowledge of English and the main musical notions.
Inside the course will tackle issues such as the main structures of the songs, styles and narratives, the slang and jargon in English, shades and analysis of the intervals.

Verranno ascoltati ed analizzati brani di: Pink Floyd, Bob Dylan, Jethro Tull, Genesis, Beatles, King Crimson, Lou Reed, David Bowie, Frank Zappa, Jefferson Airplane, Clash, Sex Pistols, U2 e tanti altri.
Costo: 20 € compresa la tessera valida per tutto il 2011, per chi ne è già in possesso solo 16 €
