La Chamomilla è la comune camomilla, pianta selvatica della famiglia della Composite. Il rimedio viene ricavat o dal succo dei fiori freschi.

Si tratta di una pianta nota a tutti che cresce in maniera spontanea ed omogenea in tutto il territorio nazionale e ad altitudini fino agli 800 m slm. Molto note sono anche le sue proprietà calmanti, assorbenti e antispasmodiche per cui l'infusione dei suoi fiori è particolarmente indicata, oltre che per gli usi tradizionali, anche per manifestazioni quali aerofagia, coliti, fermentazioni intestinali, pirosi e gastriti.
