The Apis mellifica is a product obtained by crushing the bees.
Just for information
point out that the use of products of animal origin by homeopathy (as in this case, in fact) has been ongoing for several years a controversy by posing some animals in particular 'emphasis on a certain contradiction between the setting declared "environmentalist" in a broad sense of the therapeutic method (recall for example that in homeopathy there is no animal testing) and the production of certain remedies. Personally I can not even give me a clear opinion on this issue I prefer not to rule. Other hand, seems less relevant, at first glance, the reserve of some vegetarians to use this type of product: I remember that homeopathic remedies are obtained through a long series of dilutions (so that beyond a certain threshold are not detected any trace of molecules of the active ingredient) and that their effectiveness depends largely on the process of potentiation between a dilution and the other). Again, however, not being I am vegetarian and thus lack the necessary sensitivity that this entails, I feel I can give a clear opinion on the matter.

In terms of mental "type" Apis is a subject always busy, careful in its occupations almost maniacal level. Like the bees, never stands still (especially a child), but is irritated and becomes suspicious and jealous if someone invades their territory: the family home and the world are his "space", the intruders are not allowed. In general, however, loves the company and aggregation.
According to the most classic examples of the homeopathic principle of "similar" (like cures like), the Apis is particularly suitable for the treatment symptoms related to the sting of bees (as well as other insects) and with respiratory and digestive complications they may present and, more generally, for any form of edema associated with burning pain in the absence of thirst and hypersensitivity to the region inflamed, inflammation of the skin, mucous membranes and joints.
In particular, the most important indications for the Apis mellifica concern:
- eye inflammation with edema
- rapid increases in body temperature with joint pain
- abscesses that cause itching and burning alive
- allergies to foods or drugs
- Sunshine
- sunburn
- inflammation of the tonsils, throat burning with sudden onset
- urticaria with pink spots and swollen
- joint pain with effusion
- burns
- pimples and boils
- ovarian pain often associated with dysmenorrhea.
All symptoms worsen at night Apis, with the warmth and contact, better with cold applications. They usually have a head for the right side then quickly spread to the entire region.
